The owner greeted us at the door with a smile and two menus, and after
sizing us up for a second, asked if we weren’t first-time visitors. Yes, we
said, wondering how he knew.
He just looked pleased and asked our waitress to give us a booth by the
window and bring us some hummus on the house.
What a nice gesture. He had no idea I was there to review the restaurant.
A friend who knows Middle Eastern food had recommended La Marsa Mediterranean Cuisine as one of his favorites, and its hospitality was making a positive impression.
Within minutes an always-complimentary basket of puffy, sesame-seeded
pitas also arrived, straight from the oven, along with a small dish of snowwhite garlic sauce. Link to article
